Hi,
Okay. so keeping a blog post going is proving to be a bit more difficult than I thought and I hope you all forgive me for my tardiness.
Like most of you we have lots of snow but it only arrived in the last couple of days and Moriarty is behaving like a seven year old child and keeps asking to go out, at the moment he is in his basket looking over the top sending me messages about how all the snow will be gone by the time he gets to go out- not much chance of that happening, the snow going that is.
We are having a quiet time, it always amazes us when spirit does not send us any visitors, it always happens when there is something drastic happening like volcano's going off or snow closed airports. We are truly being looked after and so are all you!
So we are enjoying getting on with all those jobs we never had the time to get to, Jim is refurbishing the cupboards in the dining room and building me a larder, today he is tiling the floors of said cupboards and around the edge of the dining room floor as he has taken all the render off the walls by the fireplace. This is now exposed stone. Its almost worth coming back just to see what we have done!
What am I doing you all cry.....well, I have been transforming my own kitchen into my own Cath Kidston heaven which is a retro 1950's flowery look with white painted beams. After 3 years of living with plasterboard I almost have a finshed kitchen.
We have guests booking the retreat as a self catering Gite for Christmas and New Year so we will be safely ensconced in our own part of the establishment watching movies and eating cake!
Courses for next year are booking well, only 1 place left on Barbaras Advanced Mediumship, just two left on Johnny Finchams Palmistry Diploma, Animal Communication with Joanne Hull is taking bookings quickly and the Tarot courses are booking up as well so do register your interest if you are tempted.
If I dont get to write before the end of the year.
